Captive-bred baby American Giant Millipedes (Narceus americanus) available.

These babies are approximately 5–6 months old and around 2 cm long. They are sometimes called Iron Worms or Pink-footed Millipedes. The American Giant Millipede is one of the largest millipedes found in Canada, reaching up to approximately 12 cm as adults.

They are fascinating, peaceful, easy-to-care-for pets and are great for anyone interested in keeping unusual invertebrates.

Basic care:

• Deep, moist substrate rich in decaying hardwood leaves and rotting wood

• Occasional supplemental vegetables such as carrot, zucchini, cucumber, etc.

• They primarily feed on decaying organic material in their substrate

• No complicated heating or specialized equipment required

These are captive-bred babies, not wild-caught.

Great little animals to watch grow into impressive adult millipedes!
